ARTICLE TYPES




Review 

Papers should contain the most recent data in the field. We accept systematic reviews with a predefined protocol and search strategy, meta-analyses using statistical methods, and narrative reviews that summarise the results of the study and discuss them. Manuscripts should be 20-40 typed pages in size (including Figures and Tables and no more than 100 References).The manuscript should be divided into sections: Abstract (not longer than 300 words), text divided into numbered Sections, Summary, Acknowledgements and References.

 

Mini-Review

Papers should contain the most recent data in the field. Manuscripts should not exceed 20 typed pages (including Figures and Tables and no more than 30 References).

The manuscript should be divided into sections: Abstract (not longer than 100 words), text divided into numbered Sections, Summary, Acknowledgements, and References.

 

Original Papers

Manuscripts on epidemiology and the identification of microorganisms, as well as drug resistance and the diagnostic methods and applications of molecular biology techniques in microbiology, are preferred.

The manuscript should contain new data of high scientific value. Its length should not exceed 20 typed pages (including Figures and Tables and no more than 30 References). It should be divided into sections: Abstract (no more than 100 words divided into sections), Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgements and References.

 

Short communication

It should contain new, unpublished, and documented experimental data obtained in the course of the team’s current original research findings. Its length should not exceed 10 typed pages (including figures and tables and no more than 20 references). It should be divided into sections: Abstract (no more than 60 words divided into sections), Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Acknowledgements and References.

 

Case Reports

Cases of isolation of new pathogens from clinical materials, as well as the development of new identification techniques and therapeutic methods, are preferred.

The manuscript length should not exceed 10 typed pages (including figures and tables) and should include no more than 20 references. It should be divided into sections: Introduction with a literature review, detailed Case description, Discussion, and Summary with conclusions, and References.
