REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL MANUSCRIPTS
Language
Advancements of Microbiology publishes review articles in English or Polish. Manuscripts must be written in clear, grammatically correct language. American or British English usage is accepted. A proofreading certificate is particularly appreciated.
Manuscript formatting
The font for the main text must be Times New Roman (12 pt), 1.5-spaced. Arial and Symbol fonts should be used for tables, with 2.5 cm margins throughout (for all sections). Continuous line numbers must be added to the entire document.
Tables, Illustrations, and Legends should appear as separate files. Space for tables, drawings, graphs, and photos should be marked in the text.
The manuscript must be accompanied by a Cover letter including highlights of the article, the corresponding author’s complete correspondence address, a statement that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere or is not under consideration by any other journal, and a list of five potential reviewers with their affiliations and e-mail addresses. Authors are requested to select experts in their field from diverse countries and institutions. Preselected reviewers should not be co-authors or their co-workers, be in any relationship within the last five years, or share the authors’ affiliation.
All manuscripts should contain a Title page. On this page should be the manuscript title, below full authors’ names, including first name and middle initial, affiliations of authors and their ORCID numbers, e-mail of the corresponding author, table of contents, and keywords (up to 5 words in alphabetical order).
